Competition Palais Epstein Doktor-Karl-Renner-Ring, 1010 Vienna

ca. 4.000m²

The Palais Epstein is one of the most important buildings on Vienna's Ringstrasse, between the Parliament and the Natural History Museum. It was planned by Theophil Hansen for the banker Gustav Ritter von Epstein. In 2002 the municipality decided to adapt the building for an extension of the parliament. The building is a listed building, so only minor changes to the interior and the attic have been proposed.
